However, this is not a tactics game and the game play itself is more akin to FF/Chrono series. While the main story is straight forward, because of the recruitments, Suikoden series tend to be more open world than Ogre series. The overworld plays similar too, liberating areas and gaining further ground and access. It is also generally similar story and time period with some magic. And there's a huge focus on base building. Suikoden Series - It has much bigger recruitment aspect. (In no particular order, just as I think of them) Edit: I realized now that you asked similar to Black Queen and Person of Lordly Caliber, but I was thinking more of similar to Tactics Ogre.
